Experience
I have worked across the West Midlands since 2001. I have experience of successfully helping organisations improve their environmental performance and sustainability.
I spent over ten years designing, starting and managing projects in prominent third sector organisations, including Citizens Advice and St Martin in the Bullring in central Birmingham.
I am used to thinking out side the box, and devising and implementing innovative solutions on limited budgets. I have experience of working with a wide range of people, from chief executives and senior management teams to funders, clients and service users.
I have recently worked with
-
Ikon Gallery - Birmingham
-
Citizens Advice - Wolverhampton
-
Friends of the Earth - Birmingham
-
SHARP - Sandwell
Research and education
In the last year I have completed courses at Cambridge University on Business Sustainability, and Sustainable Marketing.
Prior to that I did a PhD. This focused on leadership, organisational behaviour and the effect of external influences on an organisation's response to environmental issues.
My story
Since I was young I have loved nature and the outdoors. I have always had an inquisitive mind, wanting to know how things work and make them work better. This has come together and give me a passion for helping organisations improve their performance and become more sustainable.
